The Ten Brave Ways was created as a filter for both business and life, and to attract the right clients and people. It's painted on a massive wall within the agency, but it servers a greater purpose that goes beyond David&Goliath. To inspire employees to be the best version of themselves, to face challenges head on, and to live their truth every single day.

Stage fright has no place here at D&G. In Summer 2015, we launched our new Brave Stage. It's where employees and interns alike have an opportunity to share a story, creative work, agency news, or even sing a birthday song. Or two.

Our Wall of Goliaths consists of 200 picture frames showcasing each employees’ fears. They range from fear of public speaking to dancing to climbing one of the world’s highest mountains. Every employee hangs theirs on the wall to serve as a reminder of what they need to overcome in order to achieve greatness.

We’re excited to announce that our founder David Angelo will be speaking at this year’s Adweek Challenger Brands Summit in New York City! David will be sharing his singular journey as a challenger and the 5 Keys to Challenger Impact.

Our D&G tribe joined forces with Fork-in-Aussie Pies to raise money for the brave firefighters battling the Australian Bushfire. Please join us in raising money for those on the front lines. All proceeds go directly to Country Fire Authority

Donna Alexander, hands down, is the most “All in, all the time” PM. She is honest, sincere, and straightforward. It’s a tough job getting the projects through on time with all the approvals needed. This year’s 3% Conference is themed “The 29%,” representing both the current amount of women CDs and the amount of attendees that are hoped to be men. So we asked the women at D&G to nominate some of their male coworkers who have gone above and beyond to be #manbassadors.

Conscious Creative Movement took the stage at Advertising Week NYC! Four of our awesome Conscious Creators, including our very own David Angelo and 4A’s President & CEO, Marla Kapowitz discussed the importance of bringing more purpose into our work to spark the change our world so desperately needs.

CD Stephanie Kohnen is approachable, reliable, realistic, considerate, responsive, and a creative powerhouse who communicates clearly with an extra special talent for bringing teams together, creating stronger, more cohesive partnerships across the board. In honor of Women’s Equality Day, our awesome female creatives, producers and project managers came together in panel form to discuss topics around diversity and inclusion and shared how we can continue to lift women in advertising up. Kat Gordon of the 3% Conference made a special video appearance.

Over the course of five weeks, we activated our Ten Brave Ways with ten D&G managers taking the Brave Stage for our inaugural “Ten Brave Ways Summer Series.” They shared how their chosen Brave Way reflects their life in a deeply inspiring, humorous and authentic presentation. They went deep. We loved it.
